There are four PhD positions in astrophysics at the Indian Institute of
Space Science & Technology (IIST), Trivandrum, for the January 2025
admission.

Two of the positions are in *gamma-ray bursts and electromagnetic
counterparts of gravitational wave sources.*

The corresponding position codes in the online application form are *PES01*
and *EES03*. The latter requires external funding (such as from UGC-CSIR).
